Foods that make your body fit (Infographic)

Keeping fit and healthy is important, and the best way to do this is by eating healthy. Your diet should consist of foods that are low in calories, but high in nutrition. Protein is the building block of any diet, as it gives you energy, keeps you full longer, and is healthy. Eggs, lean meat and fish will regulate your metabolism and prevent cravings for junk food. Sweet potatoes and beetroot for instance, are healthy carbs, a good source of fiber and Vitamins B and C. Vegetables like spinach and broccoli are high in iron and Vitamins A and C.

Eating enough fruits will also contribute to a fit body. Fruits are generally low in calories and fat, while high in key vitamins and minerals. Bananas are high in potassium, while blueberries are full of antioxidants and Vitamin C. Avocados have healthy fats that prevent disease.
